New York Times review of "Cook This, Not That"

This article shows both why Americans of ALL food-snootiness levels are so often overweight (you can, in fact, easily serve six adults with a pound of pasta and a pound and a half of meatballs if you bother to balance that rich meal with a more healthful salad) and, well, why so many folks dislike the Times. What an attitude! The writer even takes credit for the grudgingly given thumbs up for the meatballs by chalking up their good flavor to the minor substitution of chicken broth for milk (despite milk being a quite commonplace ingredient in meatball recipes that shouldn’t make anyone get a funny feeling in the throat any more than Parmesan cheese).
